The 6-piece Houston band is built around the powerhouse vocals of Mary Michelle. The group brings back that feel-good vibe of the ’70s, with elements of Rock, Pop, Country, and even a pinch of Soul thrown in for good measure.

The free children’s area features a petting zoo, face painting and balloon artist. There is also a big arts and crafts area for your little artist!

Shop for one-of-kind gifts at dozens of vendor booths. There is also plenty to eat and drink, from spicy to mild and sweet to sour!

See some of the hottest cars and trucks in Central Texas. Classic cars, hot rods, convertibles and more are on display at Main Street and Third Avenue.

Three minutes to eat as many jalapeño peppers as you can. $100 cash prize!

How do I enter my team?
Visit the Cook-off Teams page. Early-Bird registration by October 1 saves you money. Team booth fees increase on October 2.
How to I become a vendor?
Visit the Vendors page. Then choose a category: Arts & Crafts, Food & Drink, Commercial Business, and Nonprofit or PDA Members. Early-Bird fees run through October 1.
Where can i park?
A free shuttle bus runs from Pflugerville High School, 1301 S. Pecan St., starting at noon. The drop-off point is at 4th Street. The event is staged on Main Street, between Railroad Avenue and 4th Street. You can also park at nearby lots or open streets and walk into the event site. It’s easy to get to.
How Long is the Event?
Chili Pfest opens to the public at noon and runs until 5 p.m. Tasting begins at 12 p.m. and runs until 3 p.m. — or until the chili runs out! Music, fun for kids and other vendors are on site until 5 p.m.
Can I Sample the Chili?
Dozens of teams will be mixin’ and fixin’ to enter the Chili Cook-Off Contest. Starting at Noon, the public can sample the chili at any of the booths. But first, purchase a package of 20 two-oz. cups and five spoons for $5 from one of two PDA ticket booths (No personal cups, outside cups or bowls are allowed!), then it’s off and running to sample what the cooks have concocted. But hurry, as the chili sometimes runs out fast! Then vote for your favorite!
Is there any entertainment?
Live music by Sawdust Road is from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Next, enter the Jalapeno Eating Contest that starts at 3 p.m. The free Kids’ Zone has a petting zoo, face painter and balloon artist (please tip them, if you can). The Man Cave at Hanovers Draught Haus features college football on TV, indoors and outside at the back deck. Don’t miss the Heat Wave Car Show from noon to 5 p.m. — you’ll love the display of cool and sassy vehicles!
